The 21st Century Youths of Niger Delta and Agitators with Conscience (21st CYNDAC) has strongly refuted recent allegations of manipulation and abuse of power levelled against High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, and Tantita Security Services.
In a statement made available to TPCN, the group condemned claims that Tompolo was using his position in pipeline surveillance to target rivals and consolidate control over lucrative security contracts.
Describing the accusations as baseless and misleading, 21st CYNDAC insisted that no amount of propaganda or character defamation would derail the progress achieved under Tompolo’s leadership in the Niger Delta.
“The lies spread by Ebikimen Tokowei of the so-called faceless Niger Delta Mandate Group and the false narratives from the Ekeni Eleven will not stop Tompolo or Tantita from doing their job, fighting oil theft and exposing the sponsors of criminal activities threatening the peace and development of the Niger Delta.
“These individuals are being used by disgruntled ex-militant leaders from Bayelsa State who are envious of Tompolo’s success and seek to tarnish his image.
“The falsehoods peddled by the Ekeni Eleven reveal deep-seated jealousy and desperation. Their sponsors, unable to secure federal contracts through merit, have resorted to smear campaigns and blackmail,” the group said.
Highlighting Tompolo’s record, the group praised his collaboration with Nigerian security agencies in combating insecurity, piracy, pipeline vandalism, and economic sabotage in the region.

They emphasised that his professionalism and effectiveness have led to the repeated renewal of his security contracts by the government.
“Tompolo’s rise to national and international prominence was built on perseverance, selfless service, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria. These rare qualities have earned him deserved respect and recognition,” the group added.
21st CYNDAC accused certain ex-militant leaders of forming a “toxic alliance” with oil thieves and detractors to undermine the work of Tantita Security and hijack contracts in Bayelsa State for their illicit oil bunkering operations.
“We call on President Bola Tinubu to disregard the antics of these groups. In Tompolo, we see a symbol of transformation whose accomplishments speak louder than the discordant voices trying to discredit him.”
Reaffirming their support, the group stated: “The path forward is clear—support effective leadership, protect national assets, and celebrate the progress made under visionary figures like Tompolo.
“The 21st CYNDAC proudly stands with High Chief Government Ekpemupolo and Tantita Security. Ebikimen Tokowei must desist from spreading falsehoods and engaging in malicious activities or risk incurring the wrath of the gods.”
