“Let’s Make History Together” – Ndidi to Besiktas Fans

Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reacted after Besiktas signed him from Premier League side Leicester City on a permanent transfer.

The agreement with the Turkish Super Lig side has been reached, pending international clearance.
Reacting to his move, Ndidi, in a statement posted on his Instagram page on Saturday, expressed his gladness in joining the club.

He told the others at the club, “It is an honour to wear the famous black and white colours. Let’s make history together.” This message to the Besiktas fans signals his ambition and commitment to his new club.

Ndidi spent eight seasons at the King Power Stadium, and his move brings an end to a successful tenure with the Foxes, where he became a key figure in the team’s midfield.

Joining from the Belgian side Genk in January 2017 at the age of 20, Ndidi went on to make 303 appearances for City, scoring 18 goals. Ndidi’s impact was felt in some of the club’s most celebrated achievements in recent memory.

His tireless and combative presence was instrumental in City securing consecutive fifth-place finishes in the Premier League.

Upon his departure, City expressed their sincere thanks and best wishes to Ndidi, acknowledging his efforts and achievements.

He leaves the club as a seasoned international player, respected by teammates, staff, and supporters for his contributions, said the club.
