Super Falcons’ WAFCON Victory Parade to Hit Abuja Streets

According to a recent report, it is asserted that the FCT and its surrounding regions will be treated to a stunning view of Nigeria’s greenery as they witness the WAFCON trophy, the most esteemed accolade in African women’s football, upon the return of the Nigerian women’s team to Nigeria on Monday.

The report suggests that the female champions of Africa are expected to land at Abuja International Airport (Nnamdi Azikiwe) around noon on Monday.

Furthermore, the report highlights that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is making arrangements for the Champions to proceed to the Presidential Villa in an open-roof bus, traversing densely populated areas to enable spectators to glimpse the iconic trophy.

“We are organizing a Trophy match featuring the players and their coaches in a bus without a roof,” says Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, Nigerian Football Federation General Secretary.
