2026 WCQ: Super Eagles faces South Africa in Bloemfontein September 9

As per the latest report, it is stated that the Bafana Bafana of South Africa will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a qualifying match for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday, 9 September.

The report indicates that the match will take place at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.

According to information provided by FIFA, the match is scheduled to commence at 5 pm Nigeria time.

Three days prior to the encounter with the South Africans, Nigeria will host the Amavubi of Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

The Super Eagles have achieved only one victory in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Eric Chelle’s team must win both matches to enhance their chances of securing the Group C qualification.
