A pastor based in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Joel Adedeji, has recounted his alleged involvement in money rituals as a young man, claiming he enjoyed financial prosperity for several years before losing a leg in an accident.
Adedeji made the disclosure during an interview with BBC Yoruba, where he narrated how he sought spiritual assistance in his quest for wealth and a better life.
According to the pastor, the herbalist he consulted instructed him to have sexual intercourse with a woman of his choice and use a piece of cloth to wipe her private parts afterwards.
He said he followed the instructions and subsequently began experiencing financial prosperity.
“The baba said I should look for someone I like and have intercourse with her and use a cloth to clean her private part once I am done. After I did that, truly money came, honestly, then he asked me to bring more,” he said.
Adedeji further disclosed that after he carried out additional instructions, the herbalist warned him that he would never be able to buy a car or build a house with the money.
He said he enjoyed the wealth for about four to five years before his circumstances changed.
Recounting the accident that led to the amputation of his leg, the pastor said the vehicle involved belonged to him but was being driven by someone he had given money to purchase it.
“Before I knew it, I got hit and landed in the hospital, and before I woke up the next day, my leg had been amputated,” he recounted.
Adedeji urged young people to avoid seeking quick wealth through questionable means. He advised them to be patient and trust that opportunities would come in due time rather than resorting to practices they may later regret.
