Former Interior Minister and interim national secretary of the party, Rauf Aregbesola, has called on the supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) not to engage in a fight with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former governor of Osun State made this known in a statement on his X page following the formal launch of the ADC in Abuja on Friday.
He urged the supporters to challenge APC with facts, on food inflation, the economy, the rising cost of living, and the deepening poverty affecting millions.

Aregbesola added that the debates should remain focused on the issues that matter, not fight, insult, or attack anyone.
“When others resort to abuse or name-calling, we must rise above it. Instead, ask them one simple question: Are Nigerians better off today than they were before?”, he said.
Aregbesola further stated that ADC supporters should continue to focus their debates on issues that truly matter, while clearly and confidently articulating the party’s position.
“Explain why our new political home, the ADC, represents a credible and necessary alternative for Nigeria’s progress and long-term sustainability. Forward ever. Till victory, always.”
