According to a resident named John, “These killings are said to be cult-related. No Police are not assuring us the residents that they are on top of the matter. The other day, we heard that they killed yet another man in a bar. We don’t understand what is going on. There is fear everywhere”

Residents say when it seems like the killings have abated, the killers will kill yet again heightening their apprehension.

Another resident simply identified as Nwolu told our correspondent that a young man who installs Closed Circut Television, CCTV, was murdered last week.

According to her “The killing of that young man has cast doubts over the claims that it is a cult-related battle. He was too hardworking to have been involved in such. The Rivers State police command through it public relations officers, Nnamdi Omoni, declined to comment on the matter
