Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team head coach, Hakeem Busari, has expressed his ambition to make a lasting impression at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup as the Flamingos continue their campaign in Morocco.
Busari said the competition presents an important opportunity for both Nigeria and his technical crew to demonstrate their abilities against some of the world’s best young footballers.

“For me, I want to make a name; I want to make a mark for Nigeria and equally for myself,” Busari said.
“As a coach, whatsoever you do, a lot of people are looking at you, but you don’t know where your career will take you. All the best is for you to just do your artistry work on the team, free your mind, do your job on the pitch.”
The Flamingos coach acknowledged that the team has identifiable strengths but insisted that further improvements would be necessary as the competition becomes more demanding.
“At this point, we can see our strong points, but we still want to do more,” he added.
