Ebuehi will ‘never turn his back on Nigeria’ – Agent

Football agent Wessel Weezenberg says his client, Tyronne Ebuehi has vowed he would never turn his back on the Nigeria whether or not he makes his competitive debut for Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup.

Harlem-born Ebuehi played football with William Troost-Ekong during their formative years, but the first choice central defender is cap-tied to Nigeria while Ebuehi will make his competitive debut for the Super Eagles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

This means is the Dutch Federation could try to lure him to play for the Netherlands senior team if he is not handed his competitive bow by Gernot Rohr in Russia.

”Tyronne is confident he can help Nigeria in this World Cup, if the coach needs him he is ready, ” Wessel Weezenberg told allnigeriasoccer.com.

”He made a definite choice for Nigeria.”

Ebuehi, 22, made his debut for Nigeria against Togo a year ago, and was involved in all the Super Eagles pre-World Cup friendlies against Argentina, Poland, Serbia, DR Congo, England and recently against Czech Republic, a sign that he will make his competitive debut this month.
