Sexual escapade between five boys and a girl has resulted in pregnancy, TPCN metro learned.
TPCN gathered that the action has thrown the whole Umuonuigwe village in Etche local government area into a state of confusion.
According to our sources, the said girl had been sleeping with five of her brothers for months in secret. Trouble came when she became pregnant as a result of the illicit sex affair and on the cause of investigating those responsible, it was learned that her brothers had hands in it.
The sources who do not want to be named said that when the girl’s parents noticed she was pregnant they interrogated her and discovered that it was some of the community brothers that were involved.
This made him (the girls father) to the present the issue to the elders and the girl was made to mention names and she mentioned five names who are all from same community as herself.
It is important to note that indigenes of Umuonuigwe community do not intermarry, either do they inter sex as anyone caught doing it or if the gods of the land fishes out the person, it would amount to taking the culprits to the village square where they will be forced to do what they did in the secret, the source said.
Only when this is done will the sacrifices for the atonement of the sacrilege be done and the culprits cleansed from their sins. As at the time of filing this report, the elders are in contention with the town council if the culprits will still come out openly to have sex.
