Rivers State Teqball Association (RIVTEQ) Congratulates Rivers Angels For Their Victory

The Rivers State Teqball Association (RIVTEQ), under the leadership of Mr. Halim Adebola Zaccah, has congratulated Rivers Angels Football Club for emerging champions of the 2025 President’s Federation Cup.

RIVTEQ Chairman Halim Zaccah, who was with the team before their departure to Lagos, commended them for bringing glory to Rivers State.

Halim attributed the team’s victory to their hard work and determination, and also praised the relevant sports authorities in Rivers State for the roles they played to ensure the girls emerged victorious.

It can be recalled that the Jewels of Rivers clinched a record-extending tenth President Federation Cup title on Saturday, June 28th, after defeating fellow NWFL side Nasarawa Amazons 4-2 on penalties in the final.

The encounter, which took place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, in Lagos State, saw coach Tosan Blankson’s ladies come from two goals down at half-time to level the game 2-2 in regulation time.
