Tragedy Strikes : Man Dies in Fatal Accident

A devastating accident on Aker Road, Iwofe, in Port Harcourt, claimed a life on Sunday evening, 25th May, 2025. According to eyewitnesses, the incident was likely caused by indiscriminately parked tankers in the area, which have become a recurring safety hazard.

Popular Port Harcourt singer Gthree Mayami confirmed the incident in a heartfelt public statement, identifying the deceased as his friend. Mayami expressed his grief and frustration, noting that the accident could have been prevented if authorities had addressed the issue of tanker congestion in the area. He called on the government to take urgent action to prevent further tragedies.
