Dread of King Asari scares pirates on Kalabari waterways

The monstrous dominance of pirates on the Cawthorne Channel waterways in the Kalabari ethnic nationality in Rivers State has been put under control because of the dread of King Dokubo Asari who was recently made the natural ruler of Elem Kalabari.

Since King Asari ascended the throne of the Elem Kalabari kingship, the pirates that used to operate without any push back from security agencies have decided to avoid operating within the Kalabari Cawthorne Channel waterways of the region.

Cawthorne Channel is an oceanic part of the region that houses the largest amount of oil well heads of OML 18 and it is said to be the area producing the largest quantity of crude oil in the region.

Elem Kalabari is a strategic oceanic community in Kalabariland and it is reported to be where the forebearers of the region first settled before spreading to establish Buguma, Abonnema and Bakana among others.

The recent report of kidnapping where 13 passengers mostly SSCE students, was said to have taken place at Isaka waterways not Kalabari waterways even though one of the victim boats was heading towards Cawthorne Channel.

The pirates avoided attacking the boats on the Cawthorne Channel waterways because of the dread of King Asari’s presence within the sea prone area. The pirates know quite well that carryingout such nefarious crime within the territory of King Asari will be a fatal failure for them.

King Asari has made it clear to all forms of criminals including pirates that it is either they repent and denounce crime or avoid the Kalabari territory, and the criminals did understand his warning very well because of his dreading capability.

Same way the Emohua/Kalabari Road had been crime free since King Asari stationed his gallant men there, the waterways will soon record zero incident of pirate attacks.

Meanwhile, the police had promised through the state police spokesperson, SP Grace Iringe-Koko that the suspects will be apprehend and secured the release of the abducted boats passengers.
