Wike has no moral right to allege betrayal after actions towards Uche Secondus, Obuah, – Asari Dokubo

Ex-militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has called on Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike to apologise for his comment that he was betrayed during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primaries in Abuja.

Wike, who had lost the PDP presidential primaries with 237 votes to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar who polled 371 votes, had alleged betrayal by his allies within the party.

Dokubo, who reacted via Facebook Live on Tuesday, said Wike’s presidential bid was very laughable, given that he ought to know his boundaries.

Consequently, he urged Wike to repent, make restitution, and reconcile with “all those he offended by his actions and utterances”.

He maintained that the governor lacked the moral right to complain about betrayal, given his actions towards some of his allies, including Uche Secondus, and Felix Obuah.

He said, “I was livid with anger [sic] that Nyesom Wike will tell people that he was betrayed. Betrayed by who? The people you are abusing? The people you treated like rats?

“They should accept your aspiration so that when you reach Abuja as president, you will kill us? People don’t advise you. You have cows like Ishi Samuel Nwanosike, you made Chairman, that has elevated you to the position of a god.”

Continuing, he said “If someone should be talking about betrayal, it should be former PDP Chairman, Uche Secondus. You kicked him out, destroyed his political career, because of your political aspiration, now you are talking about betrayal.”

The former militant leader added that Wike has made many enemies, who are willing to stab him behind his back because of his actions towards them.
