Hails of tributes for late Prophet T.B Joshua

Tributes have since streamed in from prominent Nigerians since the passing of Prophet T.B Joshua, who died on Saturday, June 5, a few days to his 58th birthday.

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed that the late prophet will be missed by his followers all over the world not only for his spiritual contributions but for touching many lives through philanthropic gestures.

Chief Whip of the Senate, Sen. Orji Kalu, also expressed sadness in a condolence message, stressing that he would be greatly missed by his followers, as his death was shocking and painful while describing him as a simple, kind-hearted and generous person.

He added that the deceased played a key role in human capital development through philanthropy and counsel, saying that his demise has left a big vacuum.

Meanwhile, Zaki of Arigidi, Oba Yisa Olanipekun, has asked the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) to keep the body of its late founder intact.

“I am hereby making a demand that his body must be preserved intact until arrangements are made to examine or certify the cause of his death and the body is moved to Arigidi for final burial rights to be announced at a later date,” he said

Prophet T.B Joshua, passed away around 2 am, hours after he walked to his apartment midway into the service when he felt uncomfortable during church service that commenced around 6 pm on Saturday.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
