Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has reviewed the existing curfew within the State.
The curfew which was initially from 10 pm to 6 am, has been reviewed downward from 7 pm to 6 am.
The new curfew will start from 11th of May 2021 till further notice.
Wike’s action follows the killing of seven police officers at the weekend by unknown gunmen.
The gunmen attacked three police stations at Rumuji, Ogbakiri all in Emohua Local Government Area and Elimgbu police station in the Obio-Akpor Local Government.
