Funeral rites for late Yinka Odumakin begin

The funeral rites of former spokesperson of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, has commenced.

The rites kicked off today at the Police College, Ikeja Lagos with lying-in-state of his remains and service of songs ceremony.

On Friday, his remains will leave Lagos for his country home, Moro, in Ife North LGA of Osun State.

A Christian wake keep will be held in his honor at theOrigbo Anglican Grammar School, followed by a candlelight procession.

Final rites will hold on Saturday, April 24 at Origbo Anglican Grammar School. He will be interred in a private ceremony.

Odumakin died from complictions of COVID19 at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital isolation centre on Friday, April 2.
