A Port Harcourt Magistrate Court has remanded 54-year-old Sunny Gogo to prison for allegedly assaulting a 6-year-old Esther Madumere inside a church.
The incident occured at the premises of Redeemers Household Greater Glory Ministry in Ozuboko, Abuloma in Port Harcourt on August 31, 2020, Court document obtained by theportcitynews showed.
According the charge sheet, the crime is punishable under 32, cap. 50 laws of the federation.
Magistrate Amaka Amanze, on Thursday, rejected a bail application by the counsel to the accused and adjourned the matter to 7th of October for the continuation of hearing.
