The corpse of a man said to have died of suspected covid-19 in Rivers State has been evacuated by the State COVID-19 team of the ministry of health.
The incident occurred in Eliozu farm road, Obio-Akpor Local Government Area on Thursday.
The man said to be a recent traveler reportedly slumped and died after exhibiting covid-19-related symptoms.
It was gathered that the family members have been taken to an isolation centre.
However, when contacted, the Press Secretary of the Rivers State Ministry of Health, Mrs Edna Alete, told our correspondent that she was not aware of the development.
