Xenophobia: ‘I will never go to South Africa again unless… Burna Boy

Afro-pop sensation, Burna Boy has said he will not visit South Africa again unless the government of the country takes care of the xenophobia ravaging the country.

Attacks on foreign nationals spiralled out of control in parts of the country as locals attacked businesses owned by foreigners while several others were killed.

In a post on twitter, the African Giant crooner wrote “I have not set foot in SA since 2017. And I will NOT EVER go to South Africa again for any reason until the SOUTH AFRICAN government wakes the fuck up and really performs A miracle because I don’t know how they can even possibly fix this.”

Nigerian government expressed displeasure over the killings in South Africa and urged the government of the county to act in order to stop further attacks.

The attacks generated heated concerns with celebrities including 2Face, Davido and Wizkid expressing outrage on social media.
