Breaking: Gunmen raid another Ogoni community, scores killed

Gunmen, on Wednesday morning, raided Taabaa community in Nyo-khana kingdom, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.

A resident who spoke exclusively to theportcitynews said at least four persons were murdered in the early morning raid.

This comes barely 24 hours after gunmen invaded Okwale community in the local government, leaving at least four persons dead while properties worth millions were destroyed.

The resident said the killing left the community in a state of commotion, adding that the gunmen shot sporadically for hours while the attack lasted.

The Rivers State police command is yet to react to Tuesday’s killing. However, prominent Ogoni indigenes condemned the renewed killings in the area.

They called on security agencies to beef up security in the area in order to secure lives and properties.
