The Bamboo investment app has experienced login difficulties as a surge of users attempt to access the platform following the commencement of the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE public offer.
Some users were reportedly unable to log into the app, prompting Bamboo to acknowledge the disruption in a statement shared on its official X account.
“Hey everyone, we’re getting a much higher-than-expected traffic trying to get into the Dangote IPO, and it’s making it difficult for some users to log into the Bamboo app.
“We’re working on a fix, and it will be up and running shortly,” the platform said.
Bamboo attributed the disruption to the unusually high volume of traffic generated by investors seeking to participate in the Dangote Refinery public offer.
The investment platform assured affected users that efforts were underway to restore normal access but did not provide a specific timeframe for when the issue would be fully resolved.
The login difficulties come amid heightened interest in the Dangote Refinery public offer, which has attracted significant attention from Nigerians seeking to acquire shares in the company.
