Rivers FA Elections to hold June 4th

The 2019 Election into the Rivers State Football Association Board will hold on the 4th of June in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.

In a statement released by the chairman of the Electoral Committee, Millerye Atiyegoba said stated that sales of nominations forms commenced on Tuesday, May 21 and will end on Friday, May 24th, 2019.

The statement advised all aspirants to return their completed nomination forms on or before May 28th.
The Chairman of the Electoral Committee Millerye Atiyegoba stated that screening of candidates is scheduled for 30th and 31st of May while the election proper will hold on 4th of June.
Positions available for the elections include Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Seven Executive Board Members.
The statement also revealed that the fees for the forms are as follows:
Chairman N70,000.00

Vice Chairman N50,000.00
7 Executive Board Members N40,000.00
Millerye Atiyegoba noted that forms are available at the electoral committee room, Rivers State Football Association Secretariat and Ernest Ikoli Press Centre, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.
He added that those who bought forms in the last exercise that was suspended are exempted from buying new forms, but should come along with evidence of payment and that they will also undergo a new screening exercise.
