Breaking: INEC shifts Bayelsa, Kogi guber elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission on Thursday rescheduled the governorship elections for Bayelsa and Kogi States.

The elections which were to hold on November 2 have been moved to November 16, giving a 2 weeks shift.

The commission in a statement by the National Commissioner and chairman of its information and voters’ education, Festus Okoye said the decision was taken after careful consideration of the appeals during the commission’s regular weekly meeting.
