UNIPORT SUG presidential hopeful stabbed to death

Comrade Stephen Mbarie, a 400 Level Science Laboratory Technology student of the University of Port harcourt, has died after he was stabbed in the chest by his own blood brother, Elechi.

The stabbing occurred during an argument between the duo around 7pm on Sunday.

Stephen was one of those that vied for the post of the president of Uniport’s Student Union Government in the last election.

Sources say political rift between the duo sparked the argument.

The killer-elder brother, Elechi, is currently on the run.

The deceased’s death came less than 24 hours after attending the burial of an APC leader in his community.

The Rivers State Police Command said that they are working round the clock to arrest the culprit.
