Rivers state Police Command has confirmed the abduction, by unknown gunmen, of the Paramount Ruler of Rumuepirikom Community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Eze ANTHONY OWABIE.
Confirming the abduction incident, Police Public Relation Officer of Rivers State Police Command, DSP Nnamdi Omoni, told our reporter, Tina Amanda, that the command is putting its intelligence network to use so as to rescue Eze Anthony Owabie from his abductors.
Our reporter gathered that Eze OWABIE was kidnapped on his way to Etche on Sunday evening, along Osusu-Etche road in Etche Local Government Area of the state.
His car was also discovered with traces of blood it.
Palace spokesman, JOHN IHUA, appealed to the Rivers police command to redouble its efforts to ensure the release of Nye-Wey Eli Rumuepirikom unhurt, adding that members of the Eze’s family and the kingdom are already pained.
