Abe vs APC: Court adjourns hearing till Thursday

Justices JK OMOTOSHO of the federal high court sitting in Port Harcourt has adjourned to Thursday, 13th of December, 2018, for hearing on joinder in the case involving Senator Mangus Abe and 41 others seeking that to be declared rightful candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State.

Correspondent Tina Amanda reports that the presiding Judge adjourned the case due to irregularities in the applications filed by parties.

Recall, that the last adjourned date, when Counsel to Tonye Cole brought an application to be joined in the case, the judge gave 24hours for all parties interested in the suit to join.

Speaking to journalist outside the courtroom, counsel to Tonye Cole, TUDURU EDE said the court will proceed on the application of joinder on the next adjourned date when all documents are put in other.

On his part, counsel to Abe and 42 others, HENRY BELLO said due to administrative issues, the application for joinder could be moved
