Breaking: Hoodlums high-jack 18-seater bus along East-West road

Report reaching our desk says an eighteen Seater bus has been high jacked by hoodlums along Oveku-Oduoha, East-West road axis in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers state.

Our reporter Tina Amanda who visited the area gathered that the bus which was returning to Port Harcourt with eighteen passengers on board was diverted at gunpoint.

According to an eyewitness account, the armed criminals high jacked the bus and proceeded to vandalize a second empty bus whose passengers fled into nearby bush due to fear.

As at the filling this report, the whereabouts of the passengers of both buses are yet to be known.

However, when contacted, the Rivers state police public relation officer Nnamdi Omoni said the command is yet to be briefed on the incident.
