Kas Worgu

Indications have emerged that the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo is set to visit the flood-affected areas in Rivers State today.

It was gathered that the decision of the Vice President to visit the flood-affected areas in Rivers State is coming as a result of the much criticisms of the negligence of the Federal government to the plights of Rivers State.

Speaking to Theportcitynews, the SA on scheduling and protocol to Senator Magnus Abe, Mr Bethel Nte, said that the Senator will be among the entourage of the Vice President to Rivers State on his planned visit.

Furthermore, speculations have emerged that the Vice President’s planned visit with Senator Magnus Abe is unconnected with the gubernatorial ambition of Senator Abe as it is perceived that the Senator may be in the good books of the Presidency.

Although it is unconfirmed, the details of the visit and other political permutations shall be made known as time goes on.
