Eke Empathises With Victims of Eliozu Fire Incident

The Chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government Council, Prince Solomon Abel Eke has described as unfortunate, the tanker explosion along Airforce/Eliozu Road which destroyed residential buildings and business.

Prince Solomon Eke who stated this after visiting the scene of the incident appealed to drivers plying the route to be conscious when approaching the bend before the Eliozu overhead bridge.

The tanker fire which began at about 5 am in the morning started after the tanker which was carrying petroleum products missed its track and hit an electric pole.

Eyewitnesses say sparks from the electric pole started the fire, although no life was said to be lost in the inferno.

The Obio Akpor Chairman, therefore, empathized with those affected by the tanker explosion and prayed to God to strengthen them.
