Nigerian singer Simi has officially revealed the full name of her second child with her husband, Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold.
The singer shared photos from her son’s dedication ceremony on Sunday, August 9, 2026, giving fans a glimpse of the intimate family celebration held after the church service.
Simi and Adekunle Gold welcomed their second child on March 10, 2026, but publicly announced his arrival on April 1.
During the dedication ceremony, Simi unveiled her son’s full name as Adeifemi Oba Ajani Kosoko.
Sharing photos from the celebration on Instagram, the mother of two described Adeifemi as the younger brother of their first child, Adejare, while expressing gratitude to God for his life.

She wrote:
“ADEIFEMI OBA AJANI KOSOKO Omo Simisola Omo Adekunle Aburo Adejare Jesus Baby Kaabo.”
Simi also offered prayers for her son, asking God to bless him with life, joy, good health and peace while keeping him under divine protection.
“God keep you and cause His face to shine on you. I love you, Fresh Prince. My lil Champ. My lil Pop. My baby boy,” she added.
Adekunle Gold also joined the celebration in the comment section, affectionately calling his wife “Mama Oba,” which translates to “the King’s mother” in Yoruba.
The couple has largely kept their children away from the public eye, making the dedication ceremony and Simi’s decision to unveil her son’s full name a special moment for their fans and followers.
