‎President Federation Cup: Rivers Angels Advance to Quarter Finals

The 2026 Women’s President Federation Cup quarter-final lineup is now set after an exciting Round of 16. This round had some wins and amazing performances by individual players all over the country on Wednesday.

‎Rivers Angels, who have won this competition before made it to the last eight by beating Abia Angels 3-1. FC Robo Queens also won theirs beat Remo Stars Ladies 5-3 in a very entertaining match.

‎Kemi Adegbuyi scored the goal for Robo Queens just before half-time, then Opeyemi Ajakaye scored two goals and Esther Onyenezide also scored.

‎The team from Lagos played well and scored more goals than their opponents in this exciting local derby. Heartland Queens were very strong in their match against Ahudiyannem Queens they won 4-0.

‎Umejiaku Oluebube was the star player she scored three goals in the 44th and 60th minutes, Monica Mathew also scored a penalty in the minute.

‎Ibom Angels made it to the quarter-finals by beating Bayelsa Queens 5-4 on penalties after the match ended 1-1.

‎Sunshine Queens continued to do so by beating Plateau United Queens 2-0, Confluence Queens had the win of the round they beat Esthington FC 8-0.

‎Edo Queens played a match, against Delta Queens they won 4-0, Adeshina Tumininu scored three goals and Kafayat Mafisere also scored goal.

‎Nasarawa Amazons also moved forward after beating Naija Ratels on penalties. Adaobi Okah scored a goal in the minute to give the Amazons the lead, Naija Ratels equalized and the match had to be decided by a penalty shootout.
