TeKnowledge, a worldwide leader in technology services, has enhanced its role as an implementation and delivery partner for Phase 2 of Microsoft’s AI National Skilling Initiative in Nigeria.
The organization stated that this initiative is part of a larger strategy to bolster the national workforce preparedness and facilitate the inclusive adoption of artificial intelligence.This partnership builds upon the foundation established in 2025, when TeKnowledge contributed to the design and execution of one of Nigeria’s most comprehensive AI capability-building initiatives.
The program was not designed as a pilot, but rather as a national model aimed at converting the increasing interest in artificial intelligence into practical, employable skills. Olugbolahan Olusanya, the territory director for Africa at TeKnowledge, remarked that Nigeria is at a pivotal moment in its digital evolution.

She stated, “AI is no longer a concept of the future — it is an opportunity of the present. This next phase focuses on scale, depth, and measurable impact. We are committed to directly training 10,000 participants in Phase 2, with a specific emphasis on youth, women, developers, and decision-makers who will facilitate AI adoption across various sectors.
The Career Fair guarantees that this initiative transcends training, establishing direct pathways from education to employment. We are not merely delivering programs; we are enhancing Nigeria’s ability to compete in an AI-driven global economy.
