Award-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, known globally as Burna Boy, has found himself at the center of a fresh controversy following an incident at his performance in Denver, USA.
The confrontation began when Burna Boy halted his music, directing his attention to a male fan and instructing him to escort his companion out of the venue.
The singer interrupted his set to expel a couple from the audience after he alleged they were sleeping during his show.
“When I stand up here [on the stage] and see you over there with your girl sleeping in the front of me, it pisses me the f**k up. So, please, take her the f**k home… Walahi I’m not performing another song till you go home,” Burna Boy fumed.

Initially hesitant to leave, the couple eventually exited after the crowd joined the artist in demanding their departure, with Burna Boy having vowed not to continue his performance until they complied. The concert then resumed once they had left the area.
This latest action has provoked a wave of mixed reactions online, with a number of people condemning the artist for removing attendees who had paid for tickets from the event.
This is not the first time the singer has made headlines for his conduct toward concertgoers. He previously went viral for kicking a starstruck male fan who rushed the stage to embrace him during a performance.
These repeated incidents have cemented a reputation for the artist, who is increasingly known for controversially ejecting fans from his concerts for what many perceive to be trivial reasons.
