‎”I’m Resolute” Chelle Wish to Win Remaining WC Qualifiers

‎Coach Eric Chelle has stated that despite the Super Eagles being considered unlikely to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, his team is focused on winning their last four qualifying matches.

‎According to the report, it is claimed that next month, the Super Eagles will host Rwanda in Uyo, followed by a challenging match against group leaders South Africa.

‎Away from that, it is also claimed that in the month of October, they will visit Lesotho before returning home to face Benin.

‎Eric Chelle and his team are resolute in their aim to silence their critics by securing victories in their remaining qualifiers, thereby enhancing their chances of reaching next year’s Mundial.

‎”Many people have already dismissed us,” he remarked. “But I am resolute.

‎”We have four matches left, and my players and I will do everything possible to win those games.”

‎South Africa currently tops the qualifying group with 13 points, while Rwanda is in second place with eight points, tied with third-placed Benin.

‎Nigeria sits fourth with seven points, with only the group winners qualifying automatically for the World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
