2019: Sen. George Sekibo Turns Prophet

…Uses Bible To Predict Doom For Rivers APC

By Kelechi Esogwa-Amadi

In what could be described as a doomsday prophetic declaration, former senator, Thompson George Sekibo, has declared that there is no vacancy in the Rivers State Government House, popularly referred to as the Brick House.

Speaking on Thursday during the flag-off of the construction of internal roads at Bolo, in Ogu-Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State, Senator George Sekibo, who once represented Rivers East in the Senate, likened Governor Nyesom Wike’s detractors and political enemies to man-made gods who have all the attributes of human beings but cannot make use of them.

He cited the book of Psalms chapter 115 to support his assertion that Governor Wike’s political enemies do not have the clout to push the governor out of the Brick House in 2019, likening them to toothless bull dogs.

“As it is said in Psalm 115, they have eyes but they cannot see; they have ears but they cannot hear; they have mouths but they cannot talk; they have hands but they cannot move them; they have legs but they cannot walk; those who worship them are like them. There is no vacancy in Brick House. Wike is already in,” he said.

The whistle-blowing former senator called on the people of Ogu/Bolo to get their PVCs and prepare to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor Wike in 2019, while thanking the governor for his many projects in the state.

The flag-off ceremony for the Bolo internal roads construction was performed by Governor Nyesom Wike, as the senate president, Bukola Saraki, who was allegedly billed to perform the ceremony initially, failed to come.
