Timi Dakolo Slams Airport After Luggage Disappearance

Nigerian singer and songwriter Timi Dakolo has taken to social media to call out Royal Air Maroc (RAM), Morocco’s national airline, over his missing luggage, which he alleges has been held by the airline since June 26.

The acclaimed artist shared his frustration in a video posted on his Instagram page on Thursday, detailing the ordeal he has faced in his attempts to retrieve his belongings.

Dakolo explained that he was traveling on a business class flight from Lagos to Freetown, Sierra Leone, with a layover in Morocco. He recounted how he saw his bag being loaded onto the aircraft before departure. However, despite assurances from airline staff that his luggage would be transferred to his final destination, it never arrived in Freetown.

“I saw my bag from where I was seated. They told me it would be put in, and it wasn’t. I got to Freetown, and my bag was missing.”

The singer revealed that he immediately filed a missing luggage report upon arrival and has since made multiple attempts to follow up with the airline. He stated that he has placed numerous calls, sent emails, and even reached out to the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) for assistance. However, more than three weeks later, his luggage remains unaccounted for.

“It’s beginning to look like they stole my stuff. Air Maroc, please return my full luggage. It’s not just any bag.”

As of now, Royal Air Maroc has yet to issue a public statement regarding Dakolo’s allegations. The singer’s fans and supporters continue to rally behind him, urging the airline to take immediate action.
