Musa Dispels Rumors of Car Distribution to Kano Pillars Staff

Ahmed Musa, the newly appointed General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club, has refuted recent claims circulating that he distributed cars to players and club officials following his new role.

The Port City News reported that Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State appointed Musa as manager of the state-owned professional clubside..

The appointment was part of efforts to revamp the club and align it with international best practices.

The Super Eagles player, in a statement on his X page on Tuesday, addressed what he described as ‘false information.’

“It has come to my attention that false information is being circulated claiming that I distributed cars to players and officials following my appointment as General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club,” Musa stated.

The 32-year-old unequivocally labeled the claim as ‘entirely untrue.’

Musa urged the public, media organisations, and social media users to cross-check information with credible sources before disseminating it.

He highlighted that the propagation of unverified news not only misleads the public but also compromises the integrity of Kano Pillars and its leadership.

Emphasising the club’s priorities, the former Al Nassr forward affirmed that the club focus remains on building a strong, disciplined, and successful team.

The former Leicester City player thanked the public for their understanding and ongoing support.
