Financial expert and social media personality Gehgeh has criticised Carter Efe for getting involved in the dispute between VeryDarkMan, Davido and Zlatan, warning the entertainer against risking trouble over other people’s disagreements.
Gehgeh spoke while reacting to reports that Carter Efe had been petitioned over comments about VeryDarkMan’s mother and threats directed at the social media critic.
Carter Efe had threatened to continue confronting VeryDarkMan over his criticism of Davido and Zlatan.
“VeryDarkMan wey them don already swear for, person wey go soon die this week, as long as he Dey insult my helpers Zlatan and Davido, I go Dey fight you,” Carter Efe said.
Reacting, Gehgeh described the decision as a serious mistake, arguing that people should avoid taking on the enemies of influential friends.
“The worst mistake you fit make for this life na to help your friends fight their enemies, especially when those your friends get power and influence pass you,” he said.
He advised Carter Efe to show support for Zlatan by promoting the rapper’s fashion brand, buying his clothes and wearing them publicly rather than attacking people who criticise the singer.
Gehgeh also argued that Davido had the financial resources, connections and influence to handle his disagreement with VeryDarkMan without needing Carter Efe to intervene.
He noted that despite VeryDarkMan’s criticism of Davido and members of the Adeleke family, none of the singer’s relatives had publicly joined the dispute.
Gehgeh further disclosed that Davido had supported him when he launched his university, describing the singer as the first major artiste to recognise the institution while it was gaining attention online.
According to him, Davido’s recognition helped the university gain visibility and momentum. Gehgeh said he later showed appreciation by making a record celebrating the singer’s album and encouraging people to stream it.
