Former Nigeria U-20 nationwide group captain Daniel Bameyi has officially completed a transfer to Finnish club FC Inter Turku.
The 20-year-old defender joins the Scandinavian outfit from Slovenian PrvaLiga side ND Primorje, where he spent the first half of the European season after leaving Nigerian grassroots side Yum-Yum FC in September 2025.
FC Inter pointed out the Turku acquisition, which revealed that Bameyi will begin featuring for a second team competing within the Finnish Ykkönen (2nd division) for the remainder of the current campaign.

In a club announcement, FC Inter Turku management stated that the appointment of Bameyi is part of a strategic team enhancement as the club enters the crucial final stretch of the Finnish football season.
In a swift spell in Slovenia with ND Primorje, Bameyi made six top-flight league appearances, enjoying a prized European specialist following his transition to Nigerian football.
