Liam Rosenior’s return to Ligue 1 began quietly as Paris FC were held to a 0-0 draw by newly promoted Troyes at the Stade de l’Aube in their first top-flight meeting in more than 52 years.
Troyes created the better chances early on, with Renaud Ripart twice denied by Paris goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.
Paris nearly took the lead before half-time when Ilan Kebbal’s powerful effort from 20 yards struck the post.

Pablo Pagis went close for Paris after the restart, but neither side managed to create a sustained threat. Patrick Beach made a late save to deny Kebbal, ensuring the points were shared.
Both teams will look for more attacking quality next weekend, with Troyes travelling to FC Lorient and Paris FC hosting OGC Nice.
