Olympique Lyonnais ended their run of consecutive league defeats with a 2-0 victory over Toulouse on their return to Ligue 1 action.
Toulouse started strongly, with Yann Gboho and Julián Vignolo both going close before Vignolo struck the post with a deflected effort. Thomas Jørgensen also saw his attempt cleared off the line as Lyon struggled to create chances in the opening half.
The hosts continued to dominate after the break, but Lyon eventually took the lead against the run of play.

Substitute Pavel Šulc set up Noah Nartey on the edge of the box, and he fired a first-time shot into the bottom corner.
Lyon sealed the victory late on when Malick Fofana curled a superb effort into the far corner following a precise pass from Corentin Tolisso.
The defeat ended Toulouse’s four-match unbeaten start to the 2025/26 season and marked their first loss in a Ligue 1 opener in 19 seasons.
Lyon, meanwhile, head into their UEFA Champions League qualifier against Fenerbahçe with renewed confidence.
