A fresh twist has emerged over the ₦400 million mansion gifted to popular TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, by real estate entrepreneur King Mohamed Adah, widely known as King Ochacho.
During a recent TikTok live session, Peller requested the documents for the luxury property that Ochacho had announced as a wedding gift during his marriage to fellow content creator Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis.
Responding to the request, Ochacho clarified that the mansion was never intended to be transferred into Peller’s name.
According to the businessman, the arrangement was more of a free lifetime accommodation than an outright gift of ownership.
“I didn’t gift you the house with the intention of transferring ownership to you. It was essentially a lease arrangement, but I didn’t collect any money from you,” Ochacho said during the livestream.
He explained that Peller is free to live in the property for as long as he wishes because it is currently unoccupied.

“Since I am not using the house at the moment, you are welcome to stay there for as long as you want,” he added.
Ochacho further disclosed that the mansion belongs to his son and will eventually be handed over to him when he is older and starts his own family.
“The house belongs to my son. Perhaps in the future, when he grows up, gets married and starts a family, he will take possession of it. So the property is not officially yours, but feel free and comfortable living there,” he said.
The clarification comes days after Ochacho publicly announced the mansion as a wedding gift to Peller and Jarvis during their star-studded wedding ceremony in Lagos. The announcement generated widespread reactions on social media, with many praising the billionaire’s generosity.
The latest revelation has since sparked mixed reactions online, with social media users debating whether the property can truly be described as a gift if ownership remains with the donor.
