The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has promised to deliver justice as it launched an investigation into the death of Tamuno George, after an occurrence at Ukukalama-Ama, Fimie, in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State (PHALGA).
The Commandant of the Rivers State Command of the Corps, Dr Dennis Lesor-Reuben, instructed the Corps Intelligence and Investigation Department to investigate the matter without delay, as stated in a press release by the spokesman of the Corps, Ihemnacho Umeado.

The press release stated that the investigation would involve collaboration with other relevant agencies, to ensure the matter is investigated properly with justice in view.
Meanwhile, while the investigation continues, the Command urged the people in the community not to panic.
Dr Lesor Reuben made it clear that the Corps was committed to justice and ensuring the safety of lives and property, as well as securing the safety of the people within Rivers State.
On behalf of the Command, their condolences were sent to the bereaved family of the deceased, and it was assured that everything possible would be done to ensure that justice is served in this case.
