The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, following the commissioning of a series of milestone judicial infrastructure projects in the nation’s capital.
The party, in a statement released on Thursday, celebrated the completion of the new Court of Appeal Complex and specialised residential quarters, describing them as critical investments in Nigeria’s democratic governance and the justice sector.
The newly delivered infrastructure includes a modern Court of Appeal Complex fitted with state-of-the-art facilities, alongside 20-unit residential quarters designed for Justices of the Court of Appeal and Judges of the Federal High Court.
According to the statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the federal administration is also preparing for the upcoming commissioning of an additional 20-unit residential estate dedicated to FCT Judges in Abuja.
Furthermore, the party highlighted the recent groundbreaking ceremony for another housing project.
Spearheaded by Wike’s administration under the president’s directive, this initiative will construct residential quarters for judges serving in the National Industrial Court of Nigeria and the Code of Conduct Tribunal. The project is officially scheduled for delivery in January 2027.
The APC emphasised that the aggressive development of these facilities reflects the administration’s firm stance on reinforcing the rule of law, protecting the independence of the judiciary, and safeguarding the welfare of judicial officers.
The party noted that equipping judges with world-class working environments and high-quality accommodation represents a strategic effort to enhance public confidence in the legal system while driving institutional efficiency.
The party extended high praises to the FCT Minister for his leadership and timely execution of the structural assignments, noting that the infrastructure boom coincides with the third anniversary of the current administration.
The APC maintained that prioritising effective justice delivery and institutional reforms remains foundational to the country’s long-term stability and democratic culture.
