The Rivers State Police Command is searching for a tricycle operator involved in what locals say was a case of domestic violence in Ogbogoro, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
This tragedy happened recently when passersby found a woman dead alongside her two young daughters inside a stopped tricycle.
People in the community according to Revelation Agent report on Thursday, say the victim, a mother to these two kids, was discovered with her five-year-old and six-month-old girls beside the vehicle on CPM Street. The shocking sight caused locals to quickly call authorities.

Officers from the Ozuoba Police Division hit the scene fast and got to work figuring out what happened. They learned a lot from the older girl, who was supposedly there when it occurred. She said her dad attacked her mom late Monday night while they stayed at a guest house. Apparently, the woman couldn’t even stand or talk afterwards.
So now police are really pushing to find this tricycle guy before he strikes again or tries to hide evidence. It’s just tragic for those little girls to lose their mom like this.
The suspect took the woman to a hospital where, sadly, she was confirmed dead. After that, he left the woman’s body and their two children in a tricycle and took off.
According to Assistant Superintendant of Police Agabe Blessing Kaborlo, police got a call from a passerby about the woman and kids in a parked tricycle. When the officers arrived, they found the woman dead and the children still alive.
A spokesperson for the police mentioned that one of the children, a five-year-old, told investigators that the dad had attacked the mom the night before using an object, which left her badly hurt. So, the kid’s statement led the police to understand how tragic the situation truly was.
Kaborlo also said that they found a sister of the deceased and she confirmed the identity. Now, the body’s stored in a mortuary. They might do an autopsy too, as the case is still being investigated.
The two kids are now with the dead woman’s sister. Meanwhile, the detectives are trying really hard to find the suspect and catch him.
The police asked anyone who knows where the suspect is to please help the investigation. This is important to them – they want to get to the bottom of what happened.
