Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle is feeling good about his team before they play Poland in the game on Wednesday. He thinks Nigeria will play to win even though some key players not available.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria arrived in Poland with players. But some regular stars did not show up for the game against Poland and the friendly against Portugal.
Players like Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman are not playing. Chelle has to use the available players, he has to see what they can do.
With these problems Chelle is positive about his teams chances, He thinks the players he has can do well. “We have 18 players now and we will work with them ” Chelle said, “Everybody must work hard. We will play to win.”
This friendly game is a chance for the Super Eagles to keep playing better with understanding,They recently won the Unity Cup in London.
For Chelle this game is part of the teams preparations for competitions like the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The game against Poland will be on Wednesday at the Stadion Miejski in Wroclaw, Nigeria will face a test, against the European team.
The Super Eagles will then play Portugal in another friendly week. Chelle is still choosing his team for the international schedule. Players who are not yet part of the team have a chance to show what they can do in the Poland game.
