Popular Port Harcourt public figure, Brian Jonah Dennis, has created reactions online after sharing his unexpected experience with internet service provider Starlink.
Brian disclosed in a social media post that the Starlink dish he had been using for about three years suddenly stopped working three weeks ago. According to him, after contacting the company’s customer support, he was informed that the device had been damaged beyond repair.
The influencer explained that before he could even ask what the next step would be, the support team requested his delivery address and immediately arranged for a replacement device to be sent to him at no cost.
To make the experience even more impressive, he revealed that the company also gave him one month of free subscription alongside the replacement device.
Reacting humorously to the situation, Brian compared the experience to what he believes would likely happen with many Nigerian businesses. “I come dey imagine say na Nigerian business,” he wrote.
He jokingly added that it would be hard to hear of a damaged router being replaced for free by a telecom company in Nigeria, especially with an extra month of complimentary subscription included.
“Make I hear say your MTN router spoil and them replace am free of charge with free one month subscription,” he added with laughing emojis.
Brian went on to praise billionaire businessman Elon Musk, stating that the entrepreneur understands the importance of treating customers well and building loyalty through good service.
His post has since generated conversations online, with many Nigerians sharing similar experiences about customer service from both local and international companies.
