The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Prof. Ngozi Odu, has commended the state coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC, Mr. Moses Oleghe, for his impact on the scheme.
Odu thanked the NYSC cord for attracting stakeholders’ support to the programs and activities of the NYSC, especially the building of corner lodges and other infrastructural upgrades of facilities.

The deputy governor stated this in her office when she received the NYSC coordinator on a visit.
She enjoined corps members in the State and beyond to take their skill acquisition training very seriously, especially considering that white-collar jobs are nearly extinct.
She commended the NYSC DG, Brig Gen YD Ahmed, and top management for their determination, commitment, and dedication to staff and Corps welfare.

Earlier, Oleghe thanked the deputy governor for her motherly prayers and encouragement to him personally and the NYSC at large.
He extended the gratitude of staff and corps members to Odu and pleaded with her to visit corps members who he described as her children in camp when possible.
