2023: Abe’s guber interest unveils his shamelessness – Chief Eze

The former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Eze Chukwumeka Eze, has said the party is ready to take over the reins of leadership in the state in the upcoming gubernatorial election.

He commended the Rivers governorship aspirants under the platform of the APC, for their collective resolve to work for the success of the party at the elections.

Recall that ten APC governorship aspirants had met and resolved pursue their ambitions in a peaceful manner and also ensured to educate their followers against insults and pulling down others to gain attention.

They had also resolved to support whoever emerges at the party primaries either by way of consensus or election.

In a statement in Port Harcourt on Monday, Chief Eze said the alliance between candidates would ensure a successful internal selection process to elect who will emerge the party’s flag bearer at the elections.

He also maintained that breeding such unity in the party, would place it on a pedestal to clinch victory at the polls, come 2023.

The APC chieftain also noted that tthe idea will ensure not only unity amongst the leadership and various sections of the party but stop the evil seed sowed by Senator Magnus Abe and those loyal to him that prevented the party from fielding candidates during the 2019 general elections.

Eze, who promised to support whoever emerges the flagbearer in the state, also thanked the Leader of the party in the region, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for demonstrating leadership by championing the idea of zoning the 2023 gubernatorial seat to the Riverine area of the State after the upland zone, who he said would have governed the State for 24 years by 2023.

He urged Rivers people to utilize the opportunities of the time present to flush out Governor Nyesom Wike and the PDP from Rivers State after the damages, he said they have done the State.f

According to him, “We wouldn’t have complained if Wike had left the State the way he met it. But destroying all that Amaechi achieved in Education, Health, Agriculture, Transportation and peace of the State are unforgivable sins.”

He also lauded the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) in the state for speaking up against the wicked and inhumane treatment the administration of Wike and PDP has meted on workers in the state and asking the PDP to reject the garrulous mediocre parading himself as Governor and called on other professional bodies and unions to speak up for the interest of their members and the well-being of Nigerians in general.

Speaking on Senator Abe’s declaration to join the 2023 gubernatorial race, Eze said Abe guber interest demonstrates his life of shamelessness.

He said the party is aware of the dubious plot of Abe to scuttle the chances of APC to take over power come 2023, but assured that the former Senator and his misguided group have lost the battle.

Eze urged party members not to be distracted as the fight to rescue Rivers State from the deplorable condition Wike and PDP have subjected her approaches.
